Device and usage information such as device type, operating system, app version, and how you interact with the app, used for analytics and troubleshooting.

Payment information for subscriptions is processed securely by our payment partners; we do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, personalise and improve Convo's learning features, including AI coaching, lessons, role plays and word games.

To match you with another learner at a similar level when you use the peer practice feature.

To process payments, manage subscriptions and send important service communications.

To analyse usage trends, fix bugs and keep the platform secure.

3. Peer Practice Safety

When you use Learn With Human Learner, only your display name, level and chosen topic are shared with your matched partner. We never share your phone number, exact location or email address with other learners.

You can end any session at any time, and report or block another learner. Reported behaviour is reviewed by our team.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting, analytics and payment processors) who help us operate the service, under strict confidentiality obligations.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation or valid legal process.

5. Data Security and Retention

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, after which it is deleted or anonymised, subject to legal requirements.

Convo is intended for learners aged 13 and above. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.
